Job Description

  1. Lead AI transformation engagements for international clients, from initial assessment through to measured business outcome.
  2. Conduct structured discovery across a client's operations, mapping workflows, data assets, systems and decision points to identify where AI creates defensible value and where it does not.
  3. Build the commercial case for each proposed initiative, including cost, expected return, payback period and the assumptions the case rests on.
  4. Prioritise a portfolio of AI opportunities against feasibility, data readiness, value and organisational appetite, and be willing to tell a client that a proposed initiative should not proceed.
  5. Assess data readiness honestly and early, given that a majority of failed AI programmes fail on data foundations rather than on modelling.
  6. Scope pilots with explicit success criteria and explicit kill criteria agreed with the client before work begins.
  7. Design the target operating model around each deployment, including process changes, role changes, ownership and escalation paths.
  8. Lead change management and adoption, including stakeholder alignment, training and communications, and track adoption as a first class metric.
  9. Establish AI governance with the client, covering acceptable use, human oversight, data handling, model risk and audit requirement
  10. Serve as the primary senior relationship owner in the account, present to executive and board level audiences, and act as the escalation point for the engagement.
  11. Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers and delivery teams to ensure what was scoped is what gets built, and identify account expansion opportunities.
  12. Contribute to Whizzbridge's AI practice, including methodology, assessment frameworks and pre sales support on new opportunities.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. A Master's degree or MBA is advantageous but not required.
  2. Six or more years of experience spanning technology consulting, transformation, product or engineering leadership, including at least two years in a client facing advisory capacity.
  3. Demonstrated ownership of at least one AI, data or automation programme taken from proposal through to a measured business result.
  4. Sufficient technical depth to evaluate an architecture, challenge an engineering estimate and recognise an unrealistic proposal. Direct hands on engineering background is strongly preferred.
  5. Working fluency in the current AI landscape, including LLMs, agents, RAG, classical machine learning and their respective cost and risk profiles, with the judgement to match approach to problem.
  6. Strong commercial reasoning, including the ability to build a defensible business case and hold it up under scrutiny from a client CFO.
  7. Process mapping and operating model design capability.
  8. Change management experience, including responsibility for adoption and not only delivery.
  9. Exceptional written and verbal English, and demonstrated executive presence.
  10. Availability to work substantial overlap with US business hours, and willingness to travel internationally when required.

Qualifications

  1. Prior experience at a management consultancy, a systems integrator or an enterprise transformation function.
  2. Vertical depth in one or more of financial services, healthcare, retail, logistics or professional services.
