Tasks and deliverables:
- Work with an agile manner with team to design and implement Data Lakehouse architecture and BI models.
- Translate design specifications and functional requirements into Data Lakehouse architecture.
- Build data pipeline to process data using python to implement change data capture and data quality metrics.
- Develop and implement data visualization using dashboards.
- Implement reporting dashboards for management to generate and share insights.
Quality Assurance:
- Project uses Kanban approach and tasks are marked DONE one sign-off or approved by Team Lead or Management.
- Daily sync is needed in EST morning time zone.
Required skills and experiences :
- 2+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting AWS data lakes.
- 2-3 years of hand-on experience on AWS cloud platform, understanding of IAM and analytics services.
- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: AWS Glue, Airflow,etc.
- Experience with the design and building of ETL packages, data pipelines and integrating these to BI tools.
- Extensive experience leveraging Python to build data transformation pipelines.
- Experience with document-oriented databases such as Mongo Db and/or similar NoSQL Databases.
- Experience with Pyspark.
- Experience with Git and jira
